If you buy goods on our site you agree to be legally bound by this contract.
This contract is only available in English. No other languages will apply to this contract.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Contracts concluded pursuant to these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Payment and Prices
Payment of goods is to be made in advance by the means stated on the website. We will only process your order once we obtain confirmation from our payment partner that the payment has been received. If full payment has not been received within 7 days of your order then we reserve the right to cancel the contract.
Prices are as stated on our website at the time of order. VAT and sales tax are included unless otherwise stated.
Should we find, once your order has been placed, that we have mispriced an item, we shall not be obliged to the supply the item in question at that price. In such circumstances, we will notify you of the correct price, whereupon you may decide whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price. Should you decide not to continue with the purchase then a full refund will be made to you for any payment already made.
Delivery costs are charged as an extra cost at the rates listed under the delivery option on the website.
All payments need to be authorised by the relevant card issuers
Ordering goods from us
When you complete your order it is an offer to buy from us. Please ensure that you read and check your order carefully before submitting it.
By law, all products listed on our website can only be sold to persons aged 18 years and over. By making an order on our website you are verifying to us that you are aged 18 years or over.
Unavailability and right to cancel
No binding contract will exist between us until we have dispatched the goods to you. We may contact you to state that we do not accept your order. This is typically for, but not limited to, the following reasons
The goods are unavailable
We cannot authorise payment
You are not permitted to purchase the goods from us
We are not permitted to sell the goods to you
You have ordered too many goods
There has been a mistake in the pricing and description of the goods
Should any goods be unavailable, we will notify you of this as quickly as possible and will notify you of an expected date when they will be back in stock. Should you choose not to wait for the goods to become available we will arrange a full refund to you of any sum that you have already remitted to us.
Delivery of goods
Deliveries will only be arranged once we have received payment in full.
Delivery will be made to the address which you have specified when placing the order.
We use London City Bond to deliver our goods. If you want to see your delivery option, please visit our website page ‘delivery to you’ before you place your order.
We will do our best to arrange delivery within the specified date arranged when placing the order. We shall not be liable for late deliveries where and to the extent that this is due to circumstances beyond our control.
All deliveries must be signed for by a person 18 years and older.
If nobody is available to take delivery an extra delivery charge may become payable.
You are responsible for the goods once delivery has taken place. In other words, the risk in the goods passes to you when you take possession of the goods.
Faulty, mislabelled, or incorrect goods
In the event that the goods delivered are damaged or mislabelled, or if the amounts or quantities thereof are incorrect, please email us with the details as soon as possible.
Limitation of liability
Save in so far as we are precluded from limiting or excluding liability in law (such as for death or personal injury) or arising under applicable laws relating to the protection of your personal information, we accept no legal responsibility for;
Losses that were not foreseeable to you and us when the contract was formed or were not caused by any breach thereof on our part
Business losses and consequential damage; and
Losses to non-consumers
Your responsibility to us
You will be liable to us for any loss or damage we suffer arising from any breach by you of the contract between us.
Retention of title clause
Ownership of the goods shall be retained by Fairview Wines Ltd until the customer has made full payment for the goods. Pending such payment, the goods shall at all times be separately stored by the customer in such a way as to be identifiable as the property of the vendor and the customer shall in the meantime, immediately on request by the vendor, return or release the goods to the vendor.
Although the vendor retains ownership of and title to the goods, the risk in the goods in respect of loss or damage or deterioration or otherwise shall pass to the customer upon delivery.
All trade marks, logos, graphics, images, videos, and texts used on this site are our intellectual property. You may not copy or display such content without our written consent.

We may supply links to third party websites. In so doing, we do not endorse or recommend those sites or the products that they are selling; nor are we legally responsible for them.
Fairview Wines Ltd shall not be liable for any non-fulfillment of the terms of any transactions governed by these Terms and Conditions if performance thereof has been hindered or prevented by any circumstances whatsoever which are not within our control.
